Freshly arrived from France!

Hello everybody! My name is Marie, or should I say Maliii for my Thai colleagues. I arrived in Moveandstay offices over one month ago. I am 23 and I come from France.

I thank Gael for offering me the opportunity to complete my final internship in marketing before graduation,here, in Bangkok, and all the Moveandstay team for their warm welcome.

It is the first time I come to Asia... so you may imagine I discover every day more and more multiple aspects of a new culture...definitely different from European culture!
Anyway I enjoy and try to adapt as much as possible...but I can't avoid the cultural shocks...

What surprised me the most in Thailand so far:
- niceness of Thai people
- spicy food
- huge traffic jams
- 7 eleven shops open 24/7
- shopping malls and stores open every Sunday
- huge night markets
- pink eggs
- food and beverages to take away in plastic bags
- tiny tissues in restaurants
- Thai people do not say easily 'no'

and What I miss the most:
- cheese!
- bread
- green salad with olive oil dressing
- salt and pepper... ;-)

Anyway, I definitely appreciate to live this experience in Thailand, and especially among the Moveandstay team! ;-)
