    Royally Comfortable
By Richard F. (Couple)
Review: I have stayed in this area many times at places such as The Ambassador, The Grand President, The Woraburi, etc., but this hotel has them all beat hands down! I absolutely loved my executive suite! It had everything I could ask for, including a king size bed, room safe, marble bathroom with a separate glass-enclosed shower and bath, sofa and 2 chairs, writing desk, entertainment system, lots of closet and drawer space, full size refrigerator and microwave, etc. There was plenty of room for 2 people. This is truly a small apartment and for the money you can't beat it. I would stay here again anytime. The staff is excellent and they even have a free tuk-tuk that will take you to the skytrain or Sukhumvit road if you choose not to walk the short distance. There is also a convenience store attached to the building that is run by some very nice and English speaking Indian people. |

Pros: This hotel was close to everything and within easy walking distance to 2 skytrain terminals and a subway station. The hotel is CLEAN! The rooms (I stayed in an executive studio) were very welcoming to come back to after a long day in the heat and were so comfortable and well appointed that I sometimes hated to leave my room. I had a very large LCD HDTV and DVD player, kitchenette, microwave and comfortable bed. There was a sofa, 2 chairs and a working desk in the room. I have been to Bangkok 7 times and stayed in different hotels aroud the city and this one by far surpasses the rest. You can't find a better value for the money! |
Cons: The pool was small and shaded most of the time but very clean. There is an upper deck where the sun does appear for part of the day but not very many chairs on it. The view from my room was limited, but many hotels are like this due to the number of large buildings in the area. |
